Manor Farm Community Fun Day, Saturday 8th July 2017, 11am - 3pm
Horfield Church of England School, Bishopthorpe Road, Bristol. 10am - 3pm.
The project team spent the day talking to residents about the projects and how they can get involved and help to shape and develop them. There were lots of ideas and interest from residents from a range of ages and experiences & a very positive response. We're looking forwards to getting started on this brilliant project.

The 'My Manor' Project: Horfield Common Repair Cafe & Spin-Out projects!
The 'My Manor' Project is funded by the People's Health Trust to enable Ardagh Community Trust to work with residents of Manor Farm (including core members of the Manor Farm Community Hub who are working towards the provision of a community space in the estate itself) to develop a range of projects in response to local need and interests. The initial and central core of the project is the Horfield Common Repair Cafe which launched as a series of 'Pop-Up' events around the local area in July 2017 & which will be running at the Ardagh from September 2017. The Repair Cafe has been initiated by local residents, offers local people a chance to volunteer, to share their skills and develop new skills and to get involved in supporting improved outcomes for the local area which can be sustained and support ongoing opportunities for local people throughout & beyond the funding period.
